We carry 486 products. 128 of them are anti-ageing. It is the most contested shelf in the catalogue, and a brand arriving with three SKUs and the word collagen on the box is walking into a category where nothing it says is new.

So the question is not what AGEZERO claims. It is what AGEZERO can prove that the other 127 cannot.

The brand

Two answers, and neither of them is a formula.

The first is the manufacturer. AGEZERO is made by Hankook Cosmetics — one of the older houses in Korean cosmetics manufacturing, not a contract lab that opened last year to serve the export boom. For a buyer, that is not prestige, it is continuity: the factory that made this batch will still exist when you reorder, and it has an audit history someone else has already checked.

The second is provenance you can point at. The line is built on Jeju botanicals — camellia flower, jolit-dae, and the haenyeo bean that grows in sand and rock — around a patented vegetable collagen. Nine products in our entire catalogue mention Jeju sourcing. It is a smaller claim than "Korean", and smaller claims are the ones that survive a customer asking a follow-up question.

Plant collagen, and what it actually means

Be precise here, because your customers will not be. Collagen is an animal protein; a vegan collagen is not collagen at all, but a plant-derived complex intended to support the skin's own. Brands that blur this get caught, and a vegan-certified line getting caught on a collagen claim is a bad week.

AGEZERO's own positioning is the defensible version — plant-derived, vegan certified, and sold as moisture-first: the line's stated premise is that visible ageing starts as dryness. The brand states its vegan certification was taken through V-Label in Italy rather than domestically, which is the certificate an EU retailer will ask to see. Ask us for it before you list; that is a document request, not a formulation question.

The serum and the rich cream are both registered in Korea as dual-function cosmetics — whitening and wrinkle improvement — which is a regulatory designation, not marketing language. It means the claims went through MFDS review at home. It does not travel: it grants you nothing in the EU or the US, where the same sentence on a label may be a drug claim.

The calming moisture cream is the odd one out and the easiest sell — hyaluronic complex, panthenol, a cica blend, aloe. No ageing story, just a sensitive-skin daily. It is the SKU that will move fastest and the one the brand talks about least.

Who this fits

Carry it if provenance is how you sell. A named historic manufacturer, a named island, a named botanical and a vegan certificate is a complete counter-story to the private-label anti-ageing that fills the same shelf — and it fits a European clean-beauty floor without an explanation.

Skip it if your buyer wants numbers. There are no published clinical figures here — no percentage improvement, no named test house. Two brands in this box compete on exactly that, and against them AGEZERO will lose an evidence argument it is not trying to have. Also skip it if you need a full routine: this is three products, and two of them are creams.
