Korean Beauty Sample Shipping Costs by Country
What it actually costs to get Korean cosmetics samples out of Korea. These are the figures Hannaru charges at checkout — pulled from the same rate table the payment flow uses, not estimates. Based on Korea Post EMS non-document air rates as revised .
Rates by zone and weight
| Destination zone | Up to 1 kg | 1–2 kg | 2–3 kg |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zone 1 — East & Southeast Asia | $26 | $32 | $35 |
| Zone 2 — North America | $41 | $61 | $77 |
| Zone 3 — Europe & UK | $45 | $54 | $62 |
| Zone 4 — Oceania | $36 | $49 | $56 |
| Zone 5 — Rest of world | $47 | $65 | $78 |
USD, per box. Each zone is priced at its highest-cost destination country, so the quoted figure never under-charges. Duties and import taxes are not included (DDU).

Customs and duties
- DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility and are collected on arrival.
- Declared value. Samples are declared at a nominal $1 per item as no-commercial-value samples. A $0 declaration is not used — customs authorities reassess it arbitrarily.
- Origin. All shipments leave from South Korea. Korea itself is excluded as a destination for this programme.
Sampling before you commit
Hannaru lets buyers fill one box with samples from multiple Korean brands and pay only the shipping above — the samples themselves are free. It is the low-friction way to evaluate products before negotiating wholesale terms.
