Demand in the Korean market

Question
I'm curious about the skincare market in Korea, especially among women in their 30s and 40s. I know that Korean women generally invest a lot of time and effort into skincare, but do most of them actually use premium skincare products, or is it more common to use mid-range or affordable brands? I also understand that many Korean women visit dermatology clinics. Do dermatology clinics usually recommend or use premium skincare lines as part of their treatments? Personally, I feel that even affordable Korean skincare products offer high-quality ingredients and excellent performance. That's why I'm interested in understanding where the biggest consumer demand lies. Are premium products the main market, or do affordable and mid-range products make up the majority of sales?

From my experience sourcing Korean skincare, I heard that it's not unusual for teenagers and women in their 40s to use the same products because the quality is so good across different price ranges. That said, dermatology clinics do tend to use premium skincare products for treatments.
